My Story
Running for CRY and in memory of Jake Lawler
This May, I will be running the Manchester Half Marathon with my two work colleagues Saul and Ben to fundraise money for the Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) charity. This will be in memory of a young student who sadly lost his life playing football for his school team at just 16-years old at the end of last year. We are aiming to raise over £500 which can help CRY raise awareness of cardiac issues in young people, pay for research grants and screening services as well as support families who are in need.
